Morphing Tool

Morphing Tool

A tool I wrote in Python, PyOpenGL and PyQt to produce a morphing science visualization project.

In order to create a timelapse sequence of the tectonic plate movements one needs to have a large number of witness points (typically 600.)
Here its seen in the second phase within Houdini where the coordinates and morphing vectors are used to render high resolution final texture maps (for numerous channels from the same morphing data.)
Low quality feasibility test shown here only to protect the ownership rights of the client. The client specifically requested that no additional "read between the lines" interpretation should be used to "clean up". Only the work of the originating scientist was used (ten images at approx 100M year intervals.)
